- Presumably born in the 1650s or 60s.
Married at Whatton in 1683 and had a son baptised at East Bridgford in 1687.
Held freehold land at East Bridgford, and so was entitled to cast his vote in elections: listed as one of the eight freeholders of the village who cast their votes for electing members of parliament for the County of Nottingham in the poll held at the
County Court Nottingham on 18th and 19th August 1698.
Burial recorded in the parish register as John Mason, but age at death not given.
